A whole food plant-based advocate, plant-based chef, and a graduate of the Plant-Based Nutrition program at T. Colin Campbell’s Center for Nutrition Studies through Cornell University, Ginger brings awareness to the power of a whole food, plant-based (wfpb) life and the effects that nutrition has on the prevention and reversal of diseases.
Ginger converted completely to a whole food plant-based lifestyle after reading The China Study, the most comprehensive study of nutrition ever conducted. She then decided to get her Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate from T. Colin Campbell’s Center for Nutrition Studies through Cornell University. Upon completion, and after continued research on the subject, Ginger decided she wanted to spread as much awareness as possible and created www.MyWholeFoodPlantBasedLife.com. A place for her to exclaim to the world that prevention should be at the top of our lists, nutrition should be used as medicine, and that the number 1 cause of death in America is a diet-related illness.
With many family members suffering from diseases of affluence and not a single one adopting a wfpb diet, Ginger decided to spend her time writing to anyone who will listen and hope that maybe, just possibly, someone would read, take note, and implement wfpb diet into their life and see dramatic, life-changing results like she did.
Through her recipes, Ginger hopes to inspire even the most skeptical individual by revealing that eating whole food, plant-based (wfpb) is not dull, flavorless, and limited, but in fact full of variety, nutrients, flavor, and most importantly guilt free. You can eat as much as you want, never feel hungry, and start to repair your body from the inside out.
So welcome to Ginger’s little corner of the world. She hopes she can inspire you to eat more plants, be conscious of the effects that your diet has on your health, and most importantly spread the word about the benefits of a wfpb lifestyle.
